We purchased Storm as a 7 week old puppy from Jackie Mertens of Topbrass Retrievers in Elgin Illinois. My friend Ron Barter and I picked him up at Pearson International Airport on April 5th 1996. I will never forget taking him out of the shipping kennel, giving him a kiss on the face and saying, "welcome to Canada". Storm's reply was simply to wag his tail and lick me on the nose. This was the beginning of a very special relationship. I know that he is my once in a lifetime dog and I cherish every day with him. As we all know, time slips away too quickly so Storm and I would like to remind you to enjoy every day with your dog. Whether your dog is an Obedience Trial Champion or a Champion Couch Potato, make sure you treat him with respect and we assure you that your dog will do the same for you. 
For 2001 Storm was Canada's #6 All Breed Obedience Dog as well as #3 Golden Retriever and #3 Sporting Dog as featured in Dogs In Canada magazine August 2002 issue.
